The 2019 Caring Force rally was for fair pay for comparable work and a student loan repayment program. Legislators were asked to support bills that will strengthen our workforce.
The four powerful speakers represented the many faces of the sector: Marc Bourassa of Berkshire County Arc, Kristen Tingley of Advocates and Maribel Soto and Tenaya Queen, two alumni of the GIFT program at Roxbury Youthworks, for sharing their powerful stories with us. Honored with the Caring Bear award were two dedicated legislative champions – Senator Friedman and Representative Michlewitz.
